One of my greatest joys is nature. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and anything that gets me out in God’s great creation. Nature is one of the places that I see the awesome wisdom of God and one of the places that life slows down enough for me to listen to God’s leading.
My faith journey continues to be an amazing journey in God’s grace. My wife Terry & I have been active in ministry in the United Methodist church since our marriage in 1977. Our children Sarah & Greg grew up with our youth ministry. In 2002, after 20 years as an estimator & project manager in a construction firm in the power industry, I felt the Lord calling me into fulltime pastoral ministry and in 2004 we began with our first church in Bellefonte, Pa.
In 2012 the Lord led us to join the ministries of St Andrew’s and God’s grace & generosity was evident in the congregation as our journeys were united. What I enjoy about ministry is seeing God at work in the lives of people and the surprising ways God transforms our lives and community.
Recently I was asked what is your typical week like? I have to say I don’t believe I have any typical weeks, in the life at St Andrew’s church. God is providing new opportunities to reach out with compassion toward others and express our passion toward God every day.
